Men and Estrogen
By Ori Hofmekler
Excess estrogen in men could lead to devastating consequences, some of which include: fat gain (typically in the belly and chest), feminization of the body with loss of virility, aging related andropause, prostate enlargement and increased risk for cancer.
Aging is associated with changes in estrogen metabolism. There is substantial evidence to the fact that aging often involves accumulation of estrogen in the human prostate gland. For that matter, estrogen may be a main contributor for benign prostate enlargement and for the increase in PSA in the prostate gland. Estradiol, the active form of estrogen provokes increased PSA and increased risk for cancer. Combined with its adverse metabolites, high levels of circulating estrogen are also notable to predict an increased risk for atherosclerosis and heart attack.
As a crucial part of The Anti-Estrogenic Diet, and by virtue of their triple action, estrogen inhibitors, such as those in EstroX, can facilitate weight loss, lowering the risk of cancer and maintaining a lean and healthy body.
An increased level of estrogen is accelerated by overweight and obesity. Fat tissue is the site that converts androgens into estrogens. Losing weight via exercise and proper diet is an effective way to actively reduce estrogen levels. Recent studies support the connection between healthy estrogen metabolism, exercise and men's health. As a part of The Anti-Estrogenic Diet, estrogen inhibitors such as in EstroX, can help balance estrogen levels and protect the body from its adverse metabolites. The beneficial estrogen metabolites 2 methoxy estrogens, showed to inhibit elevated PSA and prostate enlargement. The Anti-Estrogenic Diet targets the damaging axis between gaining fat and getting sick. Furthermore, estrogen inhibitors, such as those in EstroX, can facilitate weight loss, lowering the risk for cancer and maintaining a lean and healthy body.
Pesticides and hormones in food, combined with poor diets (low vegetable, low omega 3 oil) are some of the main contributors to the elevated estrogen levels in men. Often, men are prone to suffer from estrogen related fat gain in estrogen sensitive adipose tissue, typically around the belly and the chest, with related conditions such as gynecomastia. Generally, enlarged estrogen sensitive adipose tissues resist fat burning. Even diet and exercise can't help remove it. But, as a part of The Anti-Estrogenic Diet and exercise, EstroX can help prevent estrogen related fat gain while shifting estrogen metabolism to healthy pathways. It has been shown that ingredients in EstroX promote beneficial metabolites (2 hydroxy or 2 methoxy estrogens), which are known to suppress and even reverse estrogen related disorders.
Note: that men who take supplemental DHEA may face the probability of partial conversion of this steroid precursor into estrogen, and thus may increase the risk of suffering the adverse effects of estrogen, such as: fat gain (typically in the belly and chest), feminization of the body with loss of virility, aging related andropause, prostate enlargement and increased risk for cancer. Supplemental estrogen inhibitors can help lower the risk involved with DHEA while taking advantage of its beneficial properties.
