People often fall into two categories, those who do and those who criticize those that do. It is not surprising that there are far more people in the second category. Why? Because, it is much easier to be a loser that puts other people down to feel better about him or herself, than it is to be a winner that is too busy achieving goals and does not waste time with gossiping.

Top MMA fighter Frank Shamrock told me once that someone told him he was lucky for winning five UFC middleweight championships straight. Frank laughed and stated that he must be the luckiest guy in the world. Anyone who knows anything about Frank, knows that he worked super smart and hard to get to where he is. Of course, it is much easier to sit on the sidelines and slam people that are in the game than it is to jump in the game and put it all on the line.

Instead of being an idiot that wastes time putting others down, study the moves of successful people and apply them to your life to get what you want. Make sure you grow a layer of thick skin, as the criticism vampires will be gunning for you once you start leaving the pool of mediocrity.
