If we spend all of our time focusing on what we do not want, when will we ever have time to focus on what we do want? Certainly, it is important to now what we want to avoid. However, it is far more important to know what we want to achieve and take the necessary steps to go after our goals. If you want to make more money, it makes sense to focus on how to make more money. This course is far more effective than fearing poverty and dwelling on the possibility that you may never achieve your financial goals. Instead of worrying about getting fat constantly, focus on having an active lifestyle and following a healthy diet most of the time. All worrying does is create the stress hormone cortisol in your body. Next time you fear something that you do not want happening, redirect your focus to what you do want and get back on track.

2. AGGRESSIVE STRENGTH TRAINING ARTICLE
You Can Make Progress Or Make Excuses, But You Cannot Do Both!
People that do not want to do something will always have a reason not to do it. Common excuses for not training and staying in shape are:
- I am too tired after work
- I do not have any time
- Training is boring
- I do not have a workout partner
- I need someone to motivate me
The list goes on and one. Whether the excuses are legitimate or not is irrelevant. The bottom line is that if you really want to achieve something, you will find a way to make it happen. I really do not buy the “I have no time” excuse. Studies show that the average American watches four hours of TV everyday. In addition, the average American probably wastes an hour or more everyday on the phone gossiping. There is always a way to fit training in. If you do not have an hour in the day to do a workout, try taking exercise breaks through out the day with bodyweight drills such as: handstand pushups and one legged squats (Check out Pavel Tsatsouline's chapter on GTG in The Naked Warrior). Or get home and do a compound exercise such as the clean and squat press. Power clean two kettlebells or dumbbells and then go into a full squat. Stand up and military press the weights overhead. From there, lower the bells to your shoulders and back to the starting position. Try two sets of ten with two-minute breaks in between each set. This workout will take you about five minutes and works just about every muscle in the body. If you do not have five minutes to stay in shape, then make some time for being weak, fat, and ill. Have some more respect for yourself and be the strongest and best-conditioned person that you can be.
