Often in life we hope that other people have the answers to the questions that we have. I think that it is important to learn from others and seek out professional advice when needed. Regardless, you do not want to have the illusion that someone else can solve all of your problems. Ultimately, you have to be the master of your own destiny and find what path is best for you. Relinquishing responsibility for your life to others can be a costly mistake and a sure fire way to never be happy.
Remember that just because something works very well for others does not mean that it will work well for you. Creating a successful business is similar. Mirroring the successful plans of others is a good idea. However, you have to personalize plans to your strengths. When I started by strength training business, I looked at what I was good at and used those strengths such as writing articles, applying public speaking to workshops etc. While, I think that others could duplicate what I have done and get the same results, they still have to personalize my approach to their own strengths. If you are a horrible public speaker, then workshops are not for you. There are other things that you can do.
Learn from others but realize that ultimately you will have to look to yourself as the master of your life.

2. AGGRESSIVE STRENGTH TRAINING ARTICLE
The Multiple Uses Of Circuit Training
When most people think of circuit training, they think fat yuppies doing nautilus circuits at the gym. This is unfortunate, as many people automatically believe that circuit training is worthless. When executed properly, circuit training can be beneficial for a variety of goals including: fat loss, muscular endurance, strength training, and even hypertrophy training. Here are the benefits of circuit training:
- Efficiency: you can work the entire body in 20-30 minutes
- Fat loss: if you choose the correct exercises and keep the breaks between exercises brief. Circuit training can be far more effective than moderate aerobic exercise.
- Strength increases: take longer breaks, pick a few exercises, and avoid training to failure. This will allow you to hit each exercise several times per week and apply the law of repeated efforts.
- Muscle Size: Focus on compound drills with heavy weights and take fairly brief breaks.
Lets go over a few sample circuit training program for various goals
Fat Loss
M-W-F
(use kettlebells or dumbbells)
- Double Military Press 5 reps
- Renegade Row 5 reps l,r (left and right)
- Double Front Squat 5 reps
- One-arm snatch 10 reps l,r (left and right)
- Two-arm Swing 10 reps
- 25 Hindu Squats
Take thirty-second breaks in between each exercise and do the entire circuit five times per workout. Take two-minute breaks in between each exercise.
Strength Focus
M-W-F
- A-1: Barbell Military Press 2x3
- A-2: Weighted Pull-up 2x3
- B-1: Deadlift 2x3
- B-2: Hanging Leg raise 2x5
Do each pair back to back. In other words, do one set of A-1, wait ninety seconds, then do a set of A-2, wait ninety seconds, and then proceed with another set of A-1. When you have completed two sets of A-1 and A-2, move on to B-1 and B-2 and complete the sets in the same manner.
Hypertrophy Focus
(Use kettlebells or dumbbells)
- Double Kettlebell Front Squat 5 reps
- Double Military Press 5 reps
- Double Bent Over Row 5 reps
- Double Swing 5 reps
- Double Windmill or TGU 5 reps l,r
Take one-minute breaks in between each exercise and complete the circuit three to five times per workout.
