1. AGGRESSIVE STRENGTH QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Good ideas that are combined have a synergistic effect. For example, combine a good strength-training program, with a solid nutrition plan, and quality sleep each night and you will achieve more productive results than simply having a good strength-training regimen. Add in a weekly sports massage and twenty minutes in a sauna or steam room after each session and you will accelerate progress further. Finally, keep a detailed training journal and you will make even better progress.

As important as good ideas are what is equally important are good actions. Combine several good actions together and you will have a tremendous compounding effect. Good ideas are simply not enough.

I hear tons of good ideas from people all of the time. However, very few people put the ideas into action. Why? Because getting excited about doing things is the easy part. Once you get into the game, you realize that you have a lot of hard work ahead and only someone that really wants the desired result is going to persevere. Good ideas with no action equals zero results. Otherwise, we would have people achieving goals all of the time. Yet, the reality is that most people make resolutions in their mind that never actualize in the real world via actions. Hear are some common excuses for not taking action?

  1. I just do not feel ready?
  2. I am just waiting for the right time?
  3. Once I get through the holidays, I will start?
  4. Once summer gets here, I will start?
  5. Once spring gets here, I will get going?
  6. Once I have more money saved up, I will give it a shot?
  7. Once things slow down at work, I will start?
  8. When I feel better, I will take action?
  9. I need more motivation?
  10. I need to plan more, then I will be ready.
  11. When the economy improves, I will try it.
  12. When money finally falls out of trees, I will be ready.
  13. When someone knocks on my door and hands me a check, I will take it as a sign.

Okay, maybe I am exaggerating on the last few, but I am sure that you get my point.

The list of excuses can go on and on and on. I am not going to attempt to simplify your life and state that you do not have legitimate reasons for not taking action. However, the world is a brutal place and it is not going to ever get perfect for you to make things easier. If the goals are important enough, you will find away. Moreover, as Napoleon Hill once stated, “The world has a way of making room for people that knows exactly what they want.”

Once you have one good in action, get another one in action, and then another and so forth and start benefiting from the compounding effect.

Do the jump roping and kettlebell/dumbbell work back to back. In other words, do a set of jump roping and them immediately do a kettlebell exercise set. Take a one-minute break after each round. A round counts as one set of jump roping and one kettlebell exercise set. Work on getting the breaks down to thirty seconds over time.
