I have the following points to make about it; 1) Mike has written clear, easily understandable descriptions of all the exercises chosen for the book. Fine points of technique are covered as well. He has combined the written portions with photos that effectively demonstrate what the movements should look like when you do them. 2) The book is an excellent reference source. The table of contents states what the name of the exercise is, and on what page you can read the explanation of the exercise. Remember, most Gyms won't let you plug in a VCR during your workout, so this manual comes in handy when you're attempting a new exercise, or trying to refine your technique with a familiar one. 3) Mike also offers some training routines at the end of the manual. Like the rest of the information presented, Mike's advice is clear, straight to the point, and useful. 4) My only knock on the book is Mike's choice of workout attire for the photos!
