It is not often that I get excited about protein powder. Most protein powders taste terrible and are loaded with unhealthy chemical ingredients. Sure I have used a few protein powders that are decent but none that actually motivated me to want to sell them on my website until recently. Not too long ago the guys at Sunwarrior were nice enough to send me a few bottles of their rice protein to test drive. Honestly I was expecting another terrible tasting rice protein like all of the other options that are on the marketplace. To my pleasant surprise I was actually shocked with how great the vanilla and chocolate flavors are. Unlike most protein powders both the vanilla and chocolate flavors taste good in water. This is the true test of a protein powder as you can make just about any protein powder taste great by mixing it with tons of fruits in a blender. MM: What inspired you to get into the protein powder business and why did you choose rice protein as your focus?

BH: Great question- I was a raw food Vegan for over 17 years, but ran into some problems.  I lost weight, and at 6' 4" was down to 145 lbs. MM: The price for your protein powder is close to $50.00 for 2lbs. Many of the popular protein powders on the market now are sold for around $35.00 for 2lbs. Why should the consumer be willing to pay nearly 50% more for the sun warrior protein powder?

BH: Yes I can understand this.  Let me make some cases for Sunwarrior. Many people think that protein is protein.  But of course we know that this is not true.  You can buy low end hydrolyzed (chemically processed) protein for cheap that is low quality, and has a low assimilation rate and causes intestinal disturbances and tastes like garbage. Or you can buy a natural process high quality protein that has a high absorption rate and easy to digest, has high efficacy and health value and tastes great.  Your choice- You get what you pay for. Also, In my opinion there are too many body builders and athletes that take so much protein and yet they do not assimilate the protein that they have taken in.  After it is all about digestion and assimilation.  Because Sunwarrior is predigested with biofermentation and enzymes it has a 98 to 99% digestion efficiency.  That means that you do not need to take as much to get the results you need.  Third, Sunwarrior is a functional food or in other words a food that is nutritious and tastes good but also has awesome healing properties. Here are some more reasons to use sunwarrior:
