MAHLER'S AGGRESSIVE STRENGTH TESTIMONIALS

Heroes

"Good morning Mike! Just wanted to share some pics from the Fort Hood KB Club via Baghdad. The team is doing well and staying safe, although we did lose a close friend on the recent helicopter crash. I truly enjoyed your "Aggressive Strength Solution for Incredible Kettlebell Training". I am planning on ordering your latest Ebook "Aggressive Strength Solution for Size and Strength". Would I have your permission to share this with the team members here in Iraq? I believe I have stated this before in previous emails, but just wanted to say thanks again for the great web site and free articles. Your contribution to the fitness community is duly noted."

"My Name is Harley Flanagan I am a Purple belt under Renzo Gracie some of you may know me from my bands the Cro-mags, Harley's War and others. I have always been into working out and over the years I have suffered from various shoulder injuries. After just one of Mikes seminars I felt improvement in my shoulder. A lot of my injuries from grappling and life in general got aggravated by using standard weights. However, when using kettle bells I felt improvement in my strength and in those weak areas. These damn kettlebells get you strong as hell, but I would never suggest playing around with them without proper instruction. That's why you should get in touch with Mike Mahler and check out his Dvds and his seminars! You will be glad you did whether you are a martial artist or just into strength training these things are the bomb! This stuff will REALLY get you in top shape for MMA or anything else life throws your way!"

"Since I have been using Mike's techniques I have gotten into absolutely amazing shape. I'm proud to say it! I cannot recommend his expertise enough. In the past few months, everyone I know has asked me how I got so fit and I direct them all to kettlebells and Mike Mahler. Mike realizes that everyone has different training goals and what they need to do to achieve them. He knows what works and what doesn't and will get you where you want to go. Thanks Mike, you seriously kick ass!"

"In our field countless numbers hold themselves out as experts, yet only a select few can be called true experts. Utilizing his rare skill with the art of kettlebells, he marries these classic techniques with routines that are modern and thoughtful, yet still creative and diverse. Mahler also offers seminars and articles that are both informative and inspiring. He’s just amazingly well-rounded. Simply stated, I consider Mike Mahler to be one of the premier strength trainers in the world today.”

"I've been following you for a couple of years now and have purchased nearly all your DVD's and e books and have found them to be of outstanding quality. Your training philosophy is very addictive and I love the fact that its not just about training the body you promote but the whole package. I have found the products you endorse to be very beneficial and have used TNT cables, Power push up 2 and Ori's products on the back of your recommendations. I have used your generalised training programs to good effect and have seen great improvements from them."--Andy Wiles

"I've been using your website and DVD's for the last year and a half. I have emailed you a few times for quick tips and advice. I've bought KB's and trained with them using your techniques. I've done all this with one goal in mind: become a full time firefighter. It just happened. Last week I got the call from the City of Vaughan, Ontario Canada. I start on Monday. Getting hired full time is no easy task, so I am taking some time to thank everyone that helped me along the way. I feel that you are one of those people. I never once had to wait more than just a few hours for a reply from you, and I've watched your DVD's many times over."

"I just wanted to drop a line and let you know how your advice has helped with my rehabilitation. I am a former USAF troop and was stationed in MT for a couple of years (heard your pops is from over there so go figure). After my term was up I still felt the need to keep serving and do something bigger than just me, so I went to work as a security contractor in Afghanistan. We have gotten a bad rap from some rotten apples but we are not mercenaries, we are true professionals and we hate when people use that word towards us.

So lets get to the point, I was on a plane crash during one of my missions, I suffered a broken collarbone, broken left knuckle, and ribs. Two members of my crew died as well as 8 afghans on the ground. After my ribs and collarbone healed I decided to do a push up. And I literally crashed onto the floor, before the accident i was benching 220 and Side pressing 70 for reps so I'm pretty sure you know how I felt since you had some health problems a while back.

I was furious, I wasn't gonna let this stop me, i remembered your article on the stair step approach to the OLS. If it worked for the squat...so I implemented that technique combined with GTG. In less than two weeks i was cranking push ups comfortably. I had my mom ship my kettlebells back to MT(long story) and started cranking away. Im happy to report that following the routines on the site and the advice on the aggressive strenght dvd 4 months after my accident i had lost 20lbs, press the 1.5pod for reps and do a double with the 2pod. I just wanted to say thank you for all the advice and inspiration. Im gonna keep cranking away and keep you updated."

"First off I am just dropping you a line to say that your website has provided me with much needed mental strength and stability in my life. As well as awesome training tips you also provide a great benefit of how I can live my life aggressively and to fulfillment. See, I am a 23 year old ex army serviceman who has just recently gotten out of a 5 year commitment with the last year being an involuntary extension (stopploss) for a year of service in Iraq. I had been on two tours of duty before this to Afghanistan and was all ready to get out when a month before my discharge BAM! time to do another year. I addition I was put in charge of a 9 man squad which can considerably change the game for a leader as well as put an unsurpassed amount of stress on an individual. While being overseas I was shot at, almost blown up, experienced panic attacks and the indescribable nagging feeling that we just weren't doing enough to fight the insurgency. Since being out I have struggled through what I can only describe as a mental breakdown as well as coping with the occasional nightmare and survivor's guilt. I have been lifting weights as well as various forms of cardio for about 7 years now and stumbled upon your website while looking for a change of pace from the traditional weights and immediately ordered your size and strength dvd and soon after your explosive strength dvd. Your dvd got here in about 2-3 days which is amazing service, I also have 2 36lb kettlebells and 2 53lb kettlebells with which to do your routines outlined in the users guide. The point of this e-mail is not to ass kiss though, it is in fact simply and from the heart say thank you. Thank you not only for providing sound and expert training advice, but also to help someone who needs a good bit of mental clarity in his life and a wise word every now and then. I look forward to reading your newsletters every week and use them along with exercise and prayer to hold myself together. Thank You."

"I wish to thank Mike Mahler for doing such an amazing job on kettlebell training. For those who have the opportunity, I would urge you to meet up with Mike at one of his seminars as it will be tremendous experience for you. Great work Mike!"
- Coach John Davies, author of "Renegade Training for Football"

"You Rock Mike! I LOVE how you married EDT with Kettlebells."
- Coach Charles Staley, author of "The Ultimate Guide To Massive Arms: Escalating Density Training"

"It’s refreshing to read young coaches like yourself with SUBSTANCE rather than mere subject matter expertise. Good work!"
- Scott Sonnon, USA National Coach, Master OF Sports, Author of "Body-Flow Freedom From Fear Reactivity"

"Mike what I like about your articles, something that makes you special is how inspiring you are. Many coaches have the book smarts and experience, but few have a way of bringing out the absolute best in everyone!"
- Christian Thibaudeau, Author of "The Black Book Of Training Secrets" and contributor to Testosterone Magazine

"Mike Mahler is one of the BEST strength coaches I have ever met. Mike always is teaching principles that just flat our work! His programs are not only effective, but they motivate you to give your all and transcend the mediocrity that most people expect while training. Mike has written more than a hundred artilces and I can honestly say that as a strength coach I continue to study them for use with my clients. If you get the chance to study under Mike or attend one his seminars, take advantage of the opportunity. His energy, expertice and teaching style deliver a powerful punch. DANGER, learning from Mike Mahler leads to immense strength gains and enhanced performance."
- Franz Snideman RKC, CHEK Co-Owner of Revolution Fitness Center and author of The Revolution Kettlebell Fat Loss Program

"I just had to write and tell you that the program is kicking ass for me. I tried to get a two arm press with the 72's two weeks ago and could barely get one rep. Today I got 12 sets of triples and probably could have gotten four or five for the first few, which I'll try next week."
- Mike Brown

"Much of my workout strategy, especially with KBs, is thanks to your work. I do believe that some people are meant to be teachers, to bring out the best in others as well as themselves. You strike me as such a person. You provide a great example of how one should live."
- Eric S. Bruesch, Dallas, TX

"Thanks Mike for coming down to Vista yesterday to help out with the TSC. I finally got to meet you and i must tell you that I was impressed!!! You are a true professional and a gentleman as well. Watching you give of your time and information was outstanding!"
- Coach Mike Burgener, Senior International Olympic Coach, CSCS

"First of all I would like to thank Mike for taking the time to work with me on the first international kettlebell workshop and for doing a grade A job on it in the process. You are a true gentleman and a fantastic coach. It truly is an honour to work with a coach of your calibre."
- Coach Russell Baillie Scotland

"I just wanted to drop you a line and say thanks for the ass kicking on Saturday. I learned allot . Including the fact that squatting six plates isn't really what I am after anymore. Your display of strength, flexibility and balance was awesome to see."
- Kraig Youmans Le Selva Beach, CA

"It is refreshing to see one who teaches out of love and a sincere desire to benefit yourself as well as others, instead of from an "ego-based" teaching mindset, which seems so prevalent in the fitness world."
- Steven Cotter, CSCS San Diego,CA

"On a related note, Mike Mahler is one cockstrong young man. He made repping out in 88-pound presses look easy when I was struggling with singles. He's also a great salesman, though he wasn't trying to be one - it is critical that I immediately purchase 2 88-pound kettlebells and develop the ability to press them more times than he can. Mike is a very good teacher and has a strong grasp of the technical material and the ability to impart it well. If you want to learn your way around a KB, you should attend one of his seminars, workshops, or arrange personal training sessions. 100% Garm Seal of Approval for Comrade Mike's products.!"
- Garm Orange, Virginia

"You are a great instructor, both in your ability to express things clearly and your ability to motivate the participants."
- Spiro Comitis, London, England

"I really enjoyed our session. I learned a great deal and have seen immediate improvements in my workouts. I was even sore in my lats from the presses! You are professional, stay positive and on task and know how to make it about your client. I will recommend you to my buddies who share the interest."
- Rick Roberts, Los Angeles, CA

"If anyone is on the fence about attending one of Mike's workshops, after experiencing it this weekend, I can give you an emphatic "DO IT!. Mike is a great instructor, and really put us through the paces."
- Nicholas Moscaritolo, Phoenix, AZ

"Hey Mike - It was a good workshop for me: learned I need more leg strength and shoulder stability and how to get there, and learned new moves and technique. Your skill with the kettlebells and as an instructor are truly awesome - it was a pleasure to watch you work!"
- Herb Springall, Mesa, AZ

"I just wanted to let you know how much I benefited from my training session last week in Santa Monica. Frankly, I didn't think we could make use of two hours but you didn't waste a minute. You were very conscientious and paid close attention to detail as far as my form is concerned. I have watched other trainers at gyms and always noticed how bored they looked, just gazing around the room while their client went through some "preordained" routine. You were dead on about my hip snap needing some work. I was doing sets of 7-8 with the 1.5 pood before our session, now I am doing sets up to 15 reps. I am ready for that 2.0 pood!"
- Mark Campbell

"We had a great seminar yesterday. Mike Mahler showed his exceptional knowledge and instructional ability as well as his tremendous personal fitness. I urge anyone interested in the subject to attend one of his seminars. Our sincerest thanks to Mike! Thanks to a great bunch of comrades for attending. All the ladies and gentlemen there assimilated lots of knowledge and 'enjoyed' lots of pain."
- Jim Tirey, Alexandria, VA

"Great workshop - excellent instructing skills and an awesome example of what kettlebells can do to get you in the best shape possible . . . I also took an hour of training from Mike this week prior to the workshop; definitely worth it as he corrected my style before I had a chance to form bad habits. I agree with Germanicus -- catch Mike's training either on his trips to Virginia or in Santa Monica, California."
- Bob Beckman, Springfield, VA

"With the wild and out of control methods I used in my lifts, I was doing the opposite what these lifts were meant to be. It was good to have Mike around and show me how to do these exercises right . . . Most of all, I had fun during the workshop. I felt really strong at the end, and the cardio benefits made me feel like a new person."
- Rishi Nakra, Los Altos, CA

"I recently had the pleasure of doing a short, intense kettlebell bootcamp with Mike Mahler. It was excellent. Mike had an overflowing enthusiasm for the iron game that infected every participant. We couldn't stop talking about kettlebells for days . . . Mike's knowledge of technique was also superb, and he was able to break it down for everyone: from advanced to novice lifters. Although familiar with some of the techniques, Mike's supervision provided useful refinement. So useful in fact, that the next day I was pressing 10% more than previously. It felt pretty easy. I highly recommend Mike to anyone. Thank you."
- Christopher Muscarella, Annapolis, MD

"Mike Mahler's kettlebell workshop was invaluable. Not only did my technique in lifts I was already performing, like the snatch, improve immediately, but lifts like the bent press that I found technically intimidating are now completely accessible and a pleasure. I have the book and the video but I benefited enormously from hands on practice with a knowledgeable instructor. I would recommend it to anyone.."
- Thomas Voorhies, Santa Monica, CA
